Ok so I just finished Unreasonable Hospitality and loved it even if I was also like “Will, you need therapy.” Before that I read How To Stay Married and it was quite possibly the best book I’ve read all year.

A book I recently enjoyed was The In-Between: The Unforgettable Encounters During Life's Final Moments by Hadley Vlahos. I look forward to reading the Funeral Ladies!

I recently finished an ARC of Funeral Ladies and I loved it. It's full of the charm of the midwest that I loved from J. Ryan Stradal's books and the location was a larger than life character. I sent you an email a couple of weeks ago, but I don't know if you received it. I'd like to talk to you about your book. Thanks

Recent book I enjoyed: The Tale of Despereaux by Kate do Camillo. When I get stuck on more “adult” books, once in a while I like read kids book as an easy “win” 😁

I somehow never read Despereaux as a kid, but I loved how WEIRD it was. The plot makes sense in the way there is a beginning-middle-end. But also, the story doesn’t make much sense (who knew soup was such a big deal? Lol) and the whole thing sounds like it was made up by a kid (and I say that in the most flattering way possible). Anyway, I loved the good, imaginative romp.

Glad I’m not alone in being hyper productive in 90% of my life but somehow simultaneously unable to organize my digital life 🫠 best book I’ve read lately: how to stay married. Got it from the library but promptly ordered a copy because I will read this once/year forever.

Ahh...Technology. I literally break technology. When my IT guys give that deep sigh followed by "I have never seen this before," I begin to pray that they don't fire me and my business as a client. Seriously, Claire, we are kindred spirits in the technology world and I feel for Krzysztof. As a matter of fact, my hubby decided that he wanted to update our phones so we went last night on his birthday and with a little more than a week before Poland. Now, my day will be spent making sure all my apps are working and *gasp* praying that I have all the passwords. Maybe today will be the day that my IT company cans me.🙄

BTW: thoughts on whether Funeral Ladies would make a good friend book club read. We never read a book together and thought it might be fun!

Look, Recents just works, ok? 😂 My husband recently helped me organize all of my blog documents in our Google Drive and he kept saying how my organization structure only makes sense to me 🤭 I’m listening to our audiobook of Shannon in the middle but I paused halfway because it felt like nothing was happening. Will revisit! Great newsletter as always.

Oh My Goodness, Claire, I just got a new computer too and told myself, "I will organized my files! I will do it right!". Alas, recent documents is a great place to find what you are looking for. Then there is always the "I wonder what key word I can plug into the search bar that will locate that document?" method. Keep up the good work! I recently finished "Sweep, the Story of a Girl and her Monster" by Jonathan Auxier with my middle schooler. I loved it and can't stop talking about it!
